At SpinDec, we value the trust you place in us when using our decision-making tools. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with the SpinDec mobile application. By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Data Collection and Usage

We collect specific data points to provide a synchronized, persistent experience across your devices.

  • User Account Information: When registering, we collect your Name, Email Address, Phone Number, and City. This is used to personalize your profile and facilitate secure login.
  • Application Activity (Spin History): We collect your "Spin Results" (options created and winning outcomes). This data is essential for the "History" and "Sync" features of the app.
  • Device & Analytics Data: We automatically collect technical identifiers (Device ID, OS version, and IP address). This information is used for app performance monitoring, crash reporting, and ad attribution via Google AdMob.

3. Permissions and Technical Access

SpinDec requests the following permissions to function correctly:

  • Internet Access: To synchronize your data with our backend (Supabase) and load advertisements.
  • Haptic Feedback: To provide a tactile user experience during the spin animation.
  • Advertising ID: Used by Google AdMob to provide relevant advertisements and prevent fraud.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

To deliver a high-quality service, we partner with the following industry-standard providers:

  • Supabase (Backend-as-a-Service): Your profile and spin history are stored securely on Supabase servers. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Google AdMob (Advertising): We use AdMob to serve ads. AdMob may use the Advertising ID from your device to serve personalized ads. You can manage these preferences in your device's Google Settings.

5. Data Security and Encryption

We take the security of your data seriously:

  • Encryption: All data transmitted between the SpinDec app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols.
  • Storage: Data stored via Supabase utilizes industry-standard encryption to prevent unauthorized access.

6. Data Retention and User Rights (Deletion)

Retention: We retain your account data and spin history as long as your account remains active.

Right to Delete: In compliance with Google Play’s 2026 Data Safety requirements, you have the right to request the total deletion of your data and account at any time.

How to Delete: We provide two methods for data deletion to ensure you remain in control of your information:

  1. In-App Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly within the app via the "Delete Account" button located in your Profile/Settings. This process is instantaneous.
  2. Email Request: You may request data deletion by emailing us at contactshaniwattoo@gmail.com. We will process your request and purge all associated records from our databases within 30 days.

7. Children’s Privacy

SpinDec does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
